This blog is a bit different. See, I’ve had blogs before — about eleventy billion of ‘em — and all of them fell flat on their faces, because of one simple fact — people.

I know this is a public space, and that’s part of what makes blogging fun — the danger of knowing that at any minute five billion people can be reading your innermost thoughts. It’s voyeuristic. Nevertheless, I hate knowing certain people read certain entries. Sooo, part of the reason I moved to WordPress was because it has password protected entries. This is nifty, especially as you can change the password for every entry if you want to.

So in order for this journal to work, I’m sectioning it off into themes.

Theme A:  EVERYONE’S INVITED!
:D yay, zomg, and the like! Yep, this is the stuff that everyone can read. I will not password-protect entries about Ruby on Rails, Lunarpages, Harry Potter, Phantom of the Opera, emocore, my band, or anything like these topics. These are the things that I want comments on, that I’d love to dialogue with anyone about, and in general things I may need help with. I’ll always be open for discussion on Everyone’s Invited topics unless I note otherwise.

Theme B: Some of you rock!!
Yeah, only some, because you right there? I actually hate you and wish I could stab a candlestick through your tongue. No offense, man. This just isn’t the topic for you. So if you see a password protected topic and I haven’t given you the password, that means you either 1) wouldn’t be interested, 2) would get really POed at me if you read it, or 3) it’s directly about you and obviously you can’t see that. Ask me for a password and odds are, you’ll be able to read these.

Theme C: Private Thoughts
That’s right, they’re just for me!! Bwah. I rule. Can I have the password, Mistress Tiara? Why yes, Tiara, you may!

So if you email me (savedglory@sbcglobal.net), you’ll get a password. These are going to vary, obviously. One might be just for you and in your name, while another might be “liccorice snaps”. Oooh HP themes are niiice. Either way, email me and you’re likely to get one.
